Cookies are small pieces of information, stored in simple text files, placed on your computer by a website.
Some cookies can be read by the website on your subsequent visits. The information stored in a cookie may relate to your browsing habits on the webpage, or a unique identification number so that the website can remember you on your return visit. Other cookies are deleted when you close your web browser and only relate to the working of the website. Generally speaking, cookies do not contain personal information from which you can be identified, unless you have provided personal information to the website.
You can choose which cookies you're happy for us to use. Your cookie preferences and the consent you have provided will be retained for one year. If you change your preferences the previous consent you provided will be overridden and this will be reflected by the removal of the appropriate cookies.
We use analytics cookies to understand how website visitors use our website. These are set by third party services -- Google and Hotjar -- and if you turn them on they help us to keep improving our website. The analytics information we collect will never be used by us to identify you; it is all aggregated and, therefore, completely anonymised. You can turn these cookies on or off at any time on this page. When you save your analytics cookies choice, a cookie will be stored on your device with this information. List of analytical cookies

We want to support people who need to hear the content on our website or need additional visual supports to read it. To do this we use Browsealoud, an accessibility and reading support tool. Browsealoud stores some data in the local storage of a person's browser. This enables it to work correctly. If you do not accept functional cookies, the 'Listen' button in the footer of every page will not display and you will not be able to avail of the Browsealoud tool. You can turn these cookies on or off at any time on this page. When you save your functional cookies choice, a cookie will be stored on your device with this information. List of functional cookies
OFF ON Allow cookies that support functionality

These cookies are associated with web analytics functionality from Hotjar. They are only set when a user lands on a page with the Hotjar script. It is used to persist the Hotjar User ID, unique to that site on the browser. This ensures that behavior in subsequent visits to the same site will be attributed to the same user ID.
Similar to a cookie, these settings store data about users' preferences for the Browsealoud tool which can read aloud content on our website. The data resides in "local storage" in users' browsers. No personally identifiable data is stored; only information about the user’s selections and preferences as they move around the site.
