Vol. 5 No. 4

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING (QUESTION OF COMPENSATION).

SEAN O LAIDHIN

asked the Minister for Defence whether compensation will be paid to Patrick Murray, Mace, Rathowen, Westmeath, in respect of his son, John, who was accidentally shot in Athlone on the 7th October, 1922; and further, to ask that, as Murray is in very poor circumstances owing to the loss of his son, payment of compensation be expedited.

Mr. Murray's claim will be considered as soon as possible by the authority referred to in my reply to the previous question.

Would it be possible to send this man something on account; he is in a very bad way?
