Vol. 8 No. 10

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - PAYMENT OF NURSE'S SALARY.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state why Nurse Kearney, who acted as temporary maternity nurse during August of last year to the County Hospital, Croom, Co. Limerick, has not been paid the usual salary of £2 2s. per week for her services, and if the Minister will state when this lady may expect payment of her salary covering the period of her service.

The question of payment for the fortnight's vacation, which I approved of in this case, is one for the Limerick County Board of Health, to whom I would suggest application might be made.
