CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - BANDON BAND INSTRUMENTS.

asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware that Commandant P.D. Scott, O/C. 10th Infantry Battalion, Cork, took twenty-five instruments from the Bandon Branch, Irish Transport and General Workers' Union, on loan, on the 19th June, 1923, and whether he will give instructions to have these instruments returned forthwith.

The band instruments, with the exception of three, were returned on the 27th August, 1923. These three were returned on the 7th January, 1924 Receipt of the instruments was acknowledged by Mr. D. O'Driscoll, then President of the Bandon Branch of the Irish Transport and General Workers' Union.
