Vol. 13 No. 7

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - MITCHELSTOWN POSTAL FACILITIES.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he is aware that the mail does not arrive in the town of Mitchelstown, Co. Cork, until twelve o'clock, noon, and that the letters are distributed at one o'clock p.m., and if and when he proposes to alter this arrangement by providing for an earlier arrival.

The question of establishing a mail car service between Fermoy and Mitchelstown, whereby Mitchelstown would be afforded an earlier delivery of the night mail correspondence, is at present under consideration, and it is hoped a decision will be reached at an early date.
