CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - ACQUISITION OF NEWBRIDGE LANDS.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture what progress has been made in acquiring the untenanted lands near Newbridge, Co. Kildare, held by Mr. Patrick Bobbett, consisting of one hundred and eighty-two acres, in the townland of Kilbelan, electoral division of Morristown-Billar, and eighty-one acres in the townland of Kilbelan (township of Newbridge), electoral division of Newbridge Urban, for the relief of congestion, and whether he will expedite the acquisition and division of these lands.

The Land Commission are about to make an offer to the owner for the purchase of the lands.
