Vol. 17 No. 5

WRITTEN ANSWER. - STARKIE ESTATE (CORK).

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether the lands held by Mrs. Kingston on the Starkie Estate at Rosscarbery have yet been acquired for subdivision, and, if so, when such subdivision will take place.

The lands referred to are tenanted lands in the townlands of Burgatia and Creggane, held by Mrs. Annie E. Kingston as judicial tenant on the estate of R.F. Starkie, which is being dealt with under the Land Act, 1923. It is anticipated that the provisional list for this estate will be published at an early date. The question of the retention of Mrs. Kingston's holding, with a view to its resumption, will be considered by the Land Commission in due course.
