Vol. 21 No. 3

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - DISMISSED AND RESIGNED R.I.C.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will, at an early date, introduce proposals for legislation, as promised last May, to give effect to the findings of the Commission set up to inquire into the cases of the dismissed and resigned R.I.C. men who were recommended for pensions by the Commission, but who through some technical reason do not come within the scope of the Superannuation and Pensions Act, 1923.

Instructions have been given for the drafting of a Bill for this purpose and it will be introduced as soon as possible.
