Vol. 21 No. 9

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - KING ESTATE (OFFALY).

asked the Minister for Fisheries if and when the Land Commission propose to divide the lands of the King Estate, Ferbane, Offaly, and also the lands of the Co-operative Society adjoining same, during the present year, or if he can state the reasons for the delay in doing so.

The King Estate, Ferbane, Offaly, has not yet been reached in its order of priority to be dealt with by the Land Commission, but when so reached it will be dealt with as rapidly as possible. The lands of the Ferbane Co-operative Society adjoining have been vested in the Land Commission, and it is anticipated that their division will take place at an early date.
