Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Flooding in Ballinagleragh.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether a petition has been received from Mr. John Flynn, of Kilmore, Dowra, Co. Leitrim, and others, in connection with the recent flooding of the River Shannon, in the townlands of Kilmore, Cornagee, Eden, etc., in the Parish of Ballinagleragh, and what steps the Minister proposes to take to prevent a recurrence of the disaster in the area.

The petition referred to has been received, and the report on same is at present under consideration by the Land Commission.
