Vol. 30 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Shannon Power Scheme.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he can state how many of the undertakings established by private capital have declined to accept the offers made in each case by the Electricity Supply Board to the undertakers, and in how many cases improved offers on the part of the Board have been made, and on what basis of compensation such increased offers were made.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he can state what, if any, arrangements have been made with the larger firms in Limerick and elsewhere to avail of the power which will be available from the Electricity Supply Board for industrial purposes, and if he can furnish the names of the firms concerned.

I shall answer Questions 17 and 18 together. Inquiries on such matters as are mentioned in the questions should be directed to the Electricity Supply Board.
