Vol. 33 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Philips Estate (Co. Tipperary).

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state the cause of the delay by the Irish Land Commission in dividing the lands known as the Philips estate, Gaile, Co. Tipperary, and also the lands of the Smith-Barry estate, Cordangan, Co. Tipperary, and if he will state when these lands will be divided so as to relieve the acute congestion which exists in these vicinities.

Schemes for the division of the Philips estate (Gaile) and Smith-Barry estate (Cordangan) have been prepared and are at present under consideration. The Land Commission hope that they will be in a position to put these schemes into operation during the Spring.
