Vol. 38 No. 16

Written Answers. - Resumption of Wexford Holding.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether it is intended to resume the holding of Mrs. Corcoran, Ballyrane House, Clonroche, County Wexford, with a view to relieving the acute congestion in the district.

An offer made by the Land Commission in 1927 for the purchase of the holding owned by Mrs. Corcoran and Mrs. Lett in Boolabaun, which is subject to a Land Purchase Annuity, was not accepted by the owners, and in the circumstances it was decided to take no further action for acquisition.
