Vol. 38 No. 17

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Refunds of Road Tax.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he will state in respect of each county in the Saorstát (a) the number of motor cars on which refunds of road tax were made; (b) the amount of tax refunded under Section 11 (2) (b) of the Finance Act, 1930.

The total number of cars in respect of which refunds have been made is 4,500, and the amount refunded is £10,300 approximately. The information by counties is not at present available, but if the Deputy will repeat his question next week I shall have the information.
