Vol. 45 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Toberdaly Estate (Offaly)

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state what is the cause of the delay in dividing Toberdaly Estate, Rhode, Offaly, which was acquired by the Land Commission from E.J. Beaumont Nesbitt some years ago.

The Land Commission propose to divide the lands of Toberdaly on the Beaumont Nesbitt Estate about the end of this year. It was not practicable to arrange sooner for their division.

Arising out of the Parliamentary Secretary's reply, is it a fact that the Land Commission are arranging to re-set these lands during the coming year? Am I to understand that they are endeavouring to re-set them for the coming season?

No, that is not so.
