Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Imports of Foreign Yarn.
Dr. Ryan
The quantities and values of the different descriptions of yarns imported in 1933 are set out in the form of a tabular statement which will be printed in the Official Report. On 1st October, 1933, the latest date for which figures are available, there were 25 persons in the Saorstát registered at employment exchanges and seeking employment at wool spinning. None was registered for cotton spinning. Separate figures are not available for spinning of other textiles.
Following is the tabular state ment:—
