Written Answers. - Attacks on Dance Halls.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state the total number of cases in each county in which (1) recreation halls have been destroyed, (2) recreation halls have been damaged, (3) other recreational equipment destroyed or damaged between the 1st January, 1934, and the 31st October, 1934, or other latest date for which the information is available; the number of these occurrences in which firearms are reported to have been carried by attacking parties, the number of cases in which convictions have been secured against the parties responsible, the number of persons so convicted, and the number of firearms carried on the occasion recovered by the police.

The following Table gives particulars in regard to the Destruction of and Damage to Recreation Halls and Destruction of and Damage to Recreational Equipment. Period: 1st January, 1934—31st December, 1934.
