Vol. 59 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Bounty on Sheep and Lambs.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will restore the bounty on sheep and lambs exported, for the winter season at least, in consideration of the necessity for hand-feeding to keep up condition and in view of the depressed markets they are meeting across channel.

Dr. Ryan

In view of the demands on the Export Bounty Fund for other purposes, I am not prepared to recommend a bounty on exported sheep and lambs.
