Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Naturalisation Certificates.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state how many certificates of naturalisation of aliens have been granted since the passing of the Irish Nationality and Citizenship Act, 1935, and if he will state in respect of each individual (1) his or her previous nationality, and (2) the vocation followed in each case.

The information asked for will be published in the form of a tabular statement in the Official Report.

Certificates were also issued under Section 6 of the Act in order to remove doubts as to their title to citizenship under Article 3 of the Constitution, to five pork butchers, who were originally of German nationality.
