Written Answers. - Unemployed Amongst Young People.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he will state separately in respect of boys and girls the number of young persons registered at employment exchanges and branch employment offices in each of the five years ended 1936 and the number placed in employment; and, further, whether he will state the numbers separately for Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Waterford.

The particulars are not available in the exact form required. The following statement shows for employment exchanges and branch employment offices of Éire, and separately for Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Waterford employment exchanges, the number of boys and girls on the live register at the end of each year and the number of vacancies filled during each year, 1932 to 1936, inclusive.
