Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - The Combined Purchasing Board.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state who are the members of the advisory committee to the Combined Purchasing Board, what special qualifications each member possesses; what remuneration they receive; and the duration of the appointment in each case.

There is no combined purchasing board. I would refer the Deputy to the provisions of Section 9 of the Local Authorities (Combined Purchasing) Act, 1925, as regards constitution, etc., of the Local Supplies Advisory Committee are:—Mr. George Byrne, Mr. Thomas Condon, Senator; Mr. Michael Gallagher, Mr. A.J. Magennis, Mr. Thomas F. McGahon.
