The preparation of amending legislation in relation to company law is under consideration in my Department, and in this connection regard is being had to the findings of the Bankruptcy Law and Winding-up of Companies Amendment Committee. The bankruptcy matters dealt with in the committee's report are, it is understood, being considered in the Department of Justice. I am not at present in a position to say when it will be possible to introduce legislation amending the law relating to companies.
