Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ballincarriga Castle, County Cork.

asked the Minister for Finance when it is proposed to take over and preserve as a national monument the castle of Ballincarriga. Dunmanway, County Cork, which apart from its historic interest contains some unique examples of early Christian art.

An inspection of Ballincarriga Castle will be carried out by the Inspector of National Monuments next month, with a view to an early decision as to whether it should be taken into guardianship under the National Monuments Act, 1930.
