asked the Minister for Finance if he will state what is the number of retail outlets for the sale or supply of intoxicating liquor of any kind in the Dublin County Borough, other than public houses itemised under the following heads: off-licences, hotels, clubs, canteens, railway refreshment rooms, railway refreshment cars, passenger vessels, restaurants, chemists' shops, theatres, sweets licences; what is the number of occasional licences granted in the Dublin County Borough, and Eire, in the year 1941 or nearest date; and the total number of trading hours permitted under such licences.

(a) In Dublin County Borough— for 27 days' trading covering an average of 7 hours per day,
(b) In Eire—for 786 days' trading; particulars of the trading hours for areas other than the County Borough of Dublin could only be obtained by reference to various provincial centres.
