Sugar (Prohibition of Import) Order, 1942—Motion of Approval.

I move:—

That Dáil Eireann hereby approves of the Sugar (Prohibition of Import) Order, 1942.

This is a formal motion which must be moved every year, under the terms of the Sugar (Prohibition of Import) Act. Its effect is to confine the wholesale importation of sugar to the Irish Sugar Company.
