asked the Minister for Lands whether any representations have been made to him regarding lands recently purchased by George and Bridget Coyle (Folio Number 2607 and 2608, County Roscommon) from a Mr. Walker, Bailey Estate, Athleague, County Roscommon; and if he will state if, in view of the local demand both prior to and subsequent to the sale, for the distribution of the said land, it is the intention of his Department to take over those lands, totalling 270 acres, for the relief of the congestion in the Athleague area.
