asked the Minister for Lands if he will state (a) the number of acres of (a) arable land, and (b) non-arable land held by the Land Commission in each of the 26 counties.

The area of land on hands of the Land Commission varies from day to day and it is not practicable to give up-to-date precise figures but the following particulars will give the Deputy some indication of the position:—

LANDS TAKEN OVER UNDER LAND ACTS, 1923-1946, AND AWAITING FINAL ALLOTMENT (AT 31st MARCH, 1946).
