Vol. 103 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Castlebar Water Supply.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he is aware of the unsatisfactory nature of the water supply at Castlebar, County Mayo, where adequate supplies of water for domestic or sanitary purposes are not available; if he will take immediate steps to have the position remedied; and also if he will state what steps, if any, have been taken in the matter.

Proposals furnished by the local authority for the provision of an improved water supply at Castlebar have been approved. On the 22nd October the urban council were informed that tenders for the carrying out of the work should be invited.
