Vol. 105 No. 10

Dáil Incident.

My attention has been drawn by the superintendent to a fracas which occurred this evening between two members, Deputies Coburn and Kennedy, outside the Chamber and which, I understand, arose from a challenge issued, and accepted, across the floor of the House.

As all such occurrences must be deemed gross breaches of the privileges of the House I consider that the matter should be referred to the Committee on Procedure and Privileges.

I move:—

That the matter be referred accordingly to the Committee on Procedure and Privileges.

Agreed and ordered accordingly.
