Vol. 118 No. 15

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sheep Dipping Tank.

asked the Minister for Agriculture whether he is aware that a sheep dipping tank situate in the village of Newcastle, Clonmel, County Tipperary, is, by reason of its insanitary condition, a danger to the health of the people of Newcastle, and that, within the past year, the local parish council and the local guild of Muintir na Tíre have demanded its immediate removal to a suitable site elsewhere; and whether he will take steps to have the tank removed at an early date.

No representations have been made to the Department in regard to the sheep-dipping station at Newcastle, Clonmel. This station is the property of the county council, which body is responsible for its repair and maintenance.
