Vol. 120 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Meath Milk Supplies.

asked the Minister for Agriculture whether he is aware of the shortage of fresh milk in many towns and villages in County Meath; and, if so, whether he has given consideration to the matter with a view to taking remedial measures.

I am not aware that there is a shortage of fresh milk in County Meath such as is suggested in the Deputy's question, and the Deputy will no doubt recall that earlier this year he felt obliged to declare his anxiety on account of the unsaleable surplus of milk then present in County Meath.
