Vol. 121 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Farm Buildings—Planning Restrictions.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will have farm buildings freed from planning restrictions under the Town and Regional Planning Acts, 1934-39, if necessary by the introduction of proposals for amending legislation.

Planning authorities already have power to grant, under Section 57 of the Town and Regional Planning Act, 1934, a general exemption from planning control of structures of a particular class. Amending legislation is not necessary.
