Vol. 122 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sandymount Strand.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether, in view of the extensive recreational use which is made of Sandymount Strand by the citizens of Dublin, he is prepared to recommend to the local authority (i) that increased catering and amusement amenities and improved dressing facilities be made available there, and (ii) that the swimming pool at present lying derelict should be reconditional and made available for use during periods of low tide.

I shall have the Deputy's suggestions conveyed to the Dublin corporation for consideration.
