Vol. 124 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Youghal Switchboard Facilities.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state whether, in view of the extension of the telephone service at Youghal during the past few years, he will have increased switchboard facilities provided with a view to relieving the overloading which exists at present.

Plans have been made to replace the existing switchboard installation at Youghal by larger switchboards of the most modern type. These switchboards, which have been on order for some time, are expected to be delivered within the next few months and when received will be installed without delay.
