Vol. 124 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Circuit Court Rules.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that copies of the new Circuit Court Rules, first published in September, 1950, have been unprocurable for some months and are stated to be now out of print; and, if so, if he will indicate what steps he proposes to take to make them available at least to members of the legal profession and when they will be so available.

Supplies of the Circuit Court Rules, 1950, have been available since September last and there are still ample stocks.

Is the Minister aware that several legal practitioners in Cork at least have written to the Stationery Office and were informed that supplies of these rules were unprocurable and that in no booksellers' shop in Cork can the rules be purchased?

I do not know about the booksellers' shops, but that very office informed me that they were available.

They were not available.

They have ample stocks.

Does the Minister doubt the Deputy's word?

They have ample stocks and refuse to sell them?

The telephone is there; ring them.

Questions Nos. 30 and 31 postponed.
