Vol. 126 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Irish News Agency.

asked the Minister for External Affairs if he will state whether provision has been made to include photography as part of the functions of the Irish News Agency; and, if so, to what extent the staff will be increased.

Photography has been from the start one of the functions of the agency, provided for in its memorandum of association. Matters relating to staffing and the internal administration of the agency are entirely within the competence of the board of the agency which is a limited company formed and registered under the Companies Acts.
