Vol. 126 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sligo Harbour.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state what is the present position as regards repairs to Sligo Harbour and when it is expected work will start there.

Plans and specifications for the proposed works at Sligo Harbour have been sent to the Sligo Harbour Commissioners for consideration and the other preliminary arrangements in connection with the works are being pressed forward as quickly as possible. When these matters have been disposed of the commissioners will be in a position to invite tenders. It is not possible at this stage to indicate a date for the commencement of the works.
