Vol. 129 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Scrap Metal Exports.

asked the Taoiseach if he will state the quantities of scrap lead, scrap brass, scrap copper and scrap metal exported from the Republic of Ireland during 1951.

Exports of scrap copper in the year 1951 were 14,341 cwt. Exports of other non-ferrous scrap metals were 45,517 cwt. As separate headings for scrap lead and scrap brass are not provided for in the Official Export List, the exports of these commodities are included in the figure for other non-ferrous scrap metals.
