asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state when the Electricity Supply Board propose extending the electricity supply system in the area Castlefin to Cloghan, County Donegal.

I am informed by the Electricity Supply Board that Castlefin is included in the Killygordon rural electrification area which extends from Clady westward to Ballybofey and that this area will be considered for development towards the end of the coming summer. It is not, however, possible at this stage to say whether the area will qualify for selection on that occasion.
The district between Ballybofey and Cloghan is not at present included in any area proposed for development.
