Vol. 130 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tralee Nursing Sisters' Home.

asked the Minister for Health if he is aware that proposals were submitted to his Department over two years ago by the Kerry County Council for the erection of a home for the nursing sisters at the County Hospital, Tralee; and, if so, if he will now state the reason for the delay in the erection of the proposed home.

Contract documents for the building work on the proposed home for nursing sisters at the County Hospital, Tralee, are at present being prepared by the local authority.

There has been some delay in proceeding with the erection of the home owing to difficulty in co-ordinating the mechanical services for the project with the services of the institution as a whole. This was dealt with at a recent conference between officers of my Department and the local authority's technical advisers.
