Vol. 131 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Police Patrol in West Cabra.

asked the Minister for Justice if, in view of the wanton destruction of street light bulbs, window panes and gardens in the area, he will consider increasing the frequency of the police patrol in West Cabra after sundown.

I am asking the Commissioner to do anything he can to improve the patrolling of the area referred to. I wish to point out, however, that there is a shortage of police in Dublin at present, and for this reason it may not be possible to give any better police protection than is at present afforded.
