Vol. 134 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Abbeylaoighis Water Works.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will sanction the additional moneys required for the use of cast iron pipes in the Abbeylaoighis water works in order to obviate the delay which may be caused if the use of asbestos cement pipes is insisted upon.

A proposal by Laoighis County Council to alter the terms of the contract for the Abbeylaoighis water supply scheme by the substitution of cast iron pipes for asbestos cement pipes has been approved.
