I am informed by the E.S.B. that, in the examination of the further development of water power resources for the generation of electricity, the possibility of erecting a hydro-electric station on the river at Ballisodare will be considered. It isnot possible to state when a decision will be taken on the matter.
Lest there be any misunderstanding I should like to make it clear that I did not at any time promise that a hydro-electric station would be erected at Ballisodare.
