The figures of taxable profits and net tax payable in respect of assessments to corporation profits tax made in 1947-48 are £18,924,190 and £5,423,320, respectively. The corresponding figures for 1952-53 are £28,740,440 and £2,855,336, respectively.
These figures are subject to adjustments in respect of discharges and repayments still to be made.
