Vol. 143 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Turbary in County Kerry.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that a large area of turbary known as the Timothy Wren estate, Record No. U. 12502, County Kerry, has been offered for sale to the Land Commission; and, further, that turbary is very urgently needed by the people of Ballymacelligott and Castleisland districts; and, if so, if the Land Commission will acquire this area of turbary for the people concerned with the least possible delay.

The area of turbary referred to by the Deputy has not beenoffered to the Land Commission but they are having inquiries made in regard to it.
