Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kilbehenny (Limerick) Water Supply.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state whether he has received proposals in regard to the provision of a water supply in Kilbehenny, County Limerick, and, if so, if he will expedite consideration of the matter.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state (a) whether he has received proposals in connection with a water supply scheme for Kilbehenny from the Limerick County Council, (b) whether they have been approved, and (c) when work on the scheme will commence.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 105 and 111 together.

The invitation of tenders for Kilbehenny water supply scheme has been approved, subject to arrangements for the acquisition of the required lands and water rights being completed.

Pending the invitation and acceptance of tenders it is not possible to indicate when work will commence.
