Vol. 150 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Portable Creamery Service.

asked the Minister for Agriculture whether he is aware of the necessity for extending the portable creamery service to Glencar, County Kerry, and, if so, if he will request the Dairy Disposals Board to provide such facilities at an early date.

I am informed by the Dairy Disposal Company, Limited, that the Glencar district of County Kerry is already served by one of the company's travelling creameries which stops at Blackstones and Boheeshil. This travelling creamery which is, as usual, withdrawn from service during the winter months, will, it is proposed, recommence operations this year on 2nd May.
