Vol. 150 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - South Kerry Postal District.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether several auxiliary postmen will lose their employment as a result of the survey of postal districts in South Kerry, and, if so, if he will review the position.

The proposals for revision of the postal delivery services in the South Kerry area have not yet reached the stage where I could indicate their effects on the serving staff. I can assure the Deputy, however, that when the proposals are finally formulated I will ensure that staff displacements are kept to the minimum.
