Vol. 150 No. 12

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kerry Sewerage and Water Schemes.

asked the Minister for Local Government what provision has been made in the current financial year for the installation of a sewerage scheme to serve the village of Glenbeigh, County Kerry.

I am not aware whether any revenue provision in respect of this scheme has been made by the sanitary authority in the current financial year.

Contract documents have been submitted within the past few days and are under examination.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he received proposals from the Kerry County Council for the extension of a water supply scheme from Glenbeigh to Rossbeigh, County Kerry, and if so, if he will issue sanction at an early date.

A proposal by the sanitary authority for this extension has already been approved.

Has the Minister made any further inquiry as to the number of people who would benefit?

It has now been sanctioned anyway.
