Vol. 151 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Water Supply for Cork Suburbs.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware that, under present legislation, grave difficulties confront the Cork County Council in regard to the provision of adequate water supplies to certain suburban areas adjacent to Cork City, and, if so, if he will consider introducing amending legislation in the matter.

I am not aware that under present legislation grave difficulties confront the Cork County Council in regard to the provision of adequate water supplies to certain suburban areas. I have had no representations from the county council regarding such difficulties, but if the Deputy will let me have particulars I will have the matter examined.
